DECLARATION OF WILLIAM SOCHA I, WILLIAM SOCHA, hereby declare and state: 1. I am a private investigator, licensed to do business in the State of California. I have personal knowledge of the matters set forth herein and, if called upon to do so, could and would competently testify thereto. 2. I have my own private investigative firm, William Socha Investigations. For the past several years I have done private investigative work for the lew firm of Bowles & Moxon. In this capacity. I was recently requested to assist on the service on Theodore Heisig of the complaint encaptionied, Bowles & Moxon v. Theodora Heisig. 3. On the evening of Wednesday, February 24, 1993, I went to the home of Mr. Heisig, at 3603 Park Balboa, Orange, California. When Mr. Heisig did not appeal. I contacted the neighbors on both sides of this residence. They both informed me that Mr. Heisig had moved out of his house several weeks ago and that they did not know his forwarding address.. 4. I continued to wait at the residence in the hope that Mr. Heisig might appear. About 9:30 in the evening a Mr. John Culligan arrived. To my knowledge, Mr. Cuiligan had been sharing the Park Balboa residence with Mr. Heisig. I told Mr. Culligan that I wished to speak with Mr. Heisig. Mr. Culligan immediately accused me of wanting to serve papers on Mr Heizig and ordered me off of his property. He was antagonist toward me and would not provide me with any information as to the whereabouts of Mr. Heisig. 5. In a further attempt to locate Mr. Heisig, I called his step-mother, Ms. Heidi Heisig. She informed me that, to her knowledge, Mr. Heisig is still living at #1* ParX Balboa residence. 6. Mr. Jon Gaw, another private investigator who has alto worked on the service of this complaint, informed me that he had contacted Mr. Heisig's step-sister, Tina Heisig. He said that while Tina did not Know where Mr. Heisig lived, she thought it likely that he could be staying with his natural sister, Valeria Adam. As I had obtained Ms. Adam's address from Ms. Heidi Heisig, I went to that location in the hope of spotting Mr. Heisig. I spent an entire day, Thursday, the 25th of February, watching this house at Kolo court, in Wildomar, California, Mr. Heisig never appeared.
